PMI Electro Mobility Solutions, a leading commercial electric vehicle manufacturer, announced that it will have 900 electric buses operating on Indian roads by December 2022. The company, which relies on indigenous manufacturing technology and timely deliveries, said that it will make PMI Electro the largest operator of electric buses in India.
“We have been aggressively bidding for tenders floated by state transport undertakings and have received several LoAs from various states,” Manvi Jain, Head of Corporate Affairs, at PMI Electro Mobility told.
“But at PMI, our aim is not to just win tenders but also to ensure timely deliveries. We are one of the leaders when it comes to delivering electric vehicles and emerged as the second best brand in delivering electric buses in India between April and June 2022,” Jain added.
The electric commercial vehicle manufacturer currently has 603 electric buses in India. This announcement comes on the heels PMI’s recent announcement that it had received an LoA from Rajkot Municipal Transport Corporation to provide 100 electric buses and operate them for a period of 10 years.
