Enel, a Fortune 200 energy company in the energy sector, announced Enel X Way as its new global business division dedicated to smart electric vehicle infrastructure solutions. Enel X Way will be devoted to the development of EV charging solutions and services that accelerate the adoption and use of EVs by consumers, businesses, cities, and the government. The company is active in 17 countries in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. It currently manages more than 320,000 charging points, both public and private, through roaming agreements and directly.
Enel X Way, North America’s largest EV charger, is based in San Carlos, Calif. in the Bay Area. It will help meet the growing demand for electric cars and smart EV charging infrastructure. Enel X Way has more than 110,000 charging stations across North America. EV drivers can plug in to a station every 2.6 seconds. JuiceBox customers have saved more than 510 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions since its launch in 2014. This is equivalent to 1.3 Million miles driven by an average gasoline-powered passenger car.

Enel X Way North America has a new business line. It is committed to increasing its sales and production, expanding the range of its solutions to include commercial charging stations, and growing its workforce to meet changing market demands. Enel X Way offers 24/7 customer service and helps customers to access hundreds of millions of dollars in incentive dollars. This is part of the state, local, and utility programs.

Enel X Way, which is committed to promoting electric mobility, will expand its partnerships with private companies, public institutions, and manufacturers of electric vehicles around the globe. It will also leverage interoperable systems’ by participating in roaming arrangements and joint ventures to make sure that customers have access all over the world to a wide range of charging options. Enel X Way is launching new partnerships in retail, automotive, and utility. This will add to the commercial customer base it has built since 2020 when it launched its commercial product line.
