Hero Electric extend its partnership with Zypp Electric. In the next 3 years, 150,000 electric scooters will be deployed for Zypp Electric’s fleet. Zypp Electric has been associated from 2020 with Hero Electric.
Zypp Electric will benefit from this syndicate partnership to continue to meet the increasing demand for its EV rental platform. It will also support its mission of providing access to around 1 million users by 2022, both for last-mile delivery and rentals.
Sohinder Gill, the CEO, of Hero Electric, said, “We have been in a long-standing association with Zypp Electric by inducting more EVs into its fleet. It will further enable access and penetration across diverse markets for Hero.”

The partnership between both companies guarantees design warranties, after-sales support, seamless execution, and specifications. The Zypp fleet management software will allow for better utilization and support for the smooth operation of the fleet. To ensure improved features, the OEM receives constant input from the ground.
Zypp currently has a fleet of 5000 electric scooters and is present in 5 cities of Delhi NCR. This year, it plans to expand to Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad to meet its 30% monthly growth. Zypp has partnered up with E-commerce leaders in logistics, food, grocery and pharmaceutical to provide sustainable last-mile delivery in the country.
