Arcimoto, Inc.®, makers of the Fun Utility Vehicle® (FUV®), Rapid Responder™, and Deliverator™—affordable, practical, and joyful pure electric vehicles for everyday commuters and fleets—and Wahlburgers are teaming up on a pilot program to field test the Deliverator, Arcimoto’s ultra-efficient, three-wheel electric vehicle designed for local and last-mile delivery. The pilot program is anticipated to begin this August at the newest Wahlburgers location coming to the boardwalk of the world-renowned Historic Key West Seaport from the restaurant brand founded by Chef Paul Wahlberg along with brothers Donnie and Mark.
Mark Wahlberg, founder of Wahlburgers, and owner of an Arcimoto FUV commented that, when the opportunity came for Walhburgers Key West to begin making zero-emission deliveries in the Deliverator, he jumped at the chance. The team in Key West was looking forward to working with Arcimoto and providing the community with a sustainable way to enjoy their favorite Wahlburgers menu items at home.
Mark Frohnmayer, CEO and Founder of Arcimoto stated that, the Deliverator’s mission was to get the job done as efficiently as possible. Right now, he couldn’t think of a more delicious job than delivering piping-hot Impossible Burgers with extra Wahl Sauce in beautiful Key West. The company believes that with every delivery, Wahlburgers Key West would enjoy meaningful per-mile savings compared to gas-powered vehicles, and would also see a boost in brand awareness as the zero-emission Deliverator turned heads across the island.
Built on the modular Arcimoto Platform, the Deliverator features a top speed of 75 mph, 102 city mile range, 20+ cubic feet of cargo space, and a right-sized footprint that allows three vehicles to be parked in a single space.
