Panasonic Life Solutions, an Indian subsidiary arm of Japan-based Panasonic Corporation was earlier known as Anchor Electricals plans to expand its electric vehicle charging offerings across the length and breadth of the nation.
In its first phase, Panasonic has partnered with electric mobility service providers SmartE and qQuick, wherein Panasonic will deploy the EV charging service on 150 SmartE electric three-wheelers and on 25 qQuick two-wheelers in the Delhi-NCR region.
Dinesh Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director, Panasonic Life Solutions told PTI about its electric vehicle services offering stating, “We are gradually progressing in this area. Last year, we launched the smart EV charging service in India under the platform ”Nymbus”. The service helps EV users, EV fleet owners, e-commerce and logistics companies to manage their fleet more efficiently and also the utility providers, vehicle, equipment and battery manufacturers to understand the user patterns and calibrate the products and services accordingly.”
The company aims to expand the offerings to Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Amaravati and Chennai in the next three years and 25 more cities will be added in the next five years with a target of catering to around 1-million vehicles, as per news media reports.
