As rising fuel costs, sustainability goals, and government-led electrification initiatives continue to reshape the transportation sector, the demand for reliable EV charging system is accelerating across India. With a strong policy focus on reducing emissions, improving energy security, and promoting electric mobility through initiatives such as FAME and various state-level EV policies, commercial fleet operators are increasingly exploring electrification as a long-term operational strategy.

Against this backdrop, VNT is strengthening its efforts to support the growing electrification of commercial and industrial vehicle fleets through its comprehensive portfolio of AC and DC EV charging solutions.

Since its inception, VNT has focused on developing and delivering robust EV charging system for a wide range of applications. The company’s portfolio spans from 3.3 kW AC chargers for residential and commercial use to high-power DC fast charging systems of up to 1.4 MW, supporting electric passenger vehicles, buses, trucks, mining equipment, port vehicles, and other heavy-duty industrial applications.

“Fleet electrification is moving from aspiration to action. For fleet operators, the shift is increasingly being driven by a combination of lower operating costs, sustainability targets, and a rapidly evolving policy environment,” said Vrinda Almadi, VNT. “At VNT, our focus is on developing reliable, scalable EV chargers that can support this transition across vehicle segments, from passenger vehicles to heavy-duty commercial and industrial applications, and help accelerate the adoption of electric mobility.”

As demand for heavy-duty electric vehicles continues to rise, charging requirements are increasing significantly. Electric buses and long-haul trucks typically require charging capacities ranging from 240 kW to 640 kW, while industrial, port, and mining applications may require charging solutions approaching or exceeding 1 MW. To address these needs, VNT’s charging systems are engineered with advanced thermal management technologies, rugged enclosures, and high-performance power electronics designed to ensure reliability, efficiency, and maximum uptime in challenging operating environments.

VNT operates with an integrated in-house R&D and manufacturing model, enabling greater control over product innovation, quality, and delivery. The company continues to invest in next-generation high-power and megawatt charging technologies, expand manufacturing capabilities, and strengthen strategic partnerships to support the evolving needs of commercial fleet operators in both domestic and international markets.
