Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has been honored with the “Special Trophy for Excellence in Exports of High-Technology Products: Large Enterprise” at the 57th EEPC India National Awards for Export Excellence, recognizing its outstanding export performance during the financial year 2024–2025.
The award, presented by Engineering Export Promotion Council under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, celebrates organizations that demonstrate innovation, global competitiveness, and sustained growth in India’s engineering exports sector. The ceremony, held in New Delhi, was attended by key dignitaries including Nitin Jairam Gadkari and senior government officials.
TKM’s recognition was based on its strong export performance across relevant HS code classifications, benchmarked against industry peers. The company’s expanding portfolio of high-technology products and its integration into global supply chains played a crucial role in securing the award.
Speaking on the achievement, G. Shankara, Chief Strategy Officer at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said the honor reflects the company’s commitment to the “Make in India for the World” vision. He emphasized TKM’s ongoing efforts to enhance export capabilities while contributing to India’s economic growth and positioning the country as a global hub for advanced manufacturing.
During FY 2024–2025, TKM strengthened its export footprint, reinforcing its status as a key contributor to India’s engineering exports ecosystem. The company has consistently been recognized at the EEPC India platform in previous years, further underscoring its leadership in the sector.
Headquartered in Bidadi, Karnataka, TKM operates two manufacturing plants with a combined installed production capacity of up to 342,000 units annually. Its product lineup includes popular models such as the Innova HyCross, Fortuner, Camry Hybrid, and Hilux, catering to both domestic and international markets.
The latest accolade highlights TKM’s continued focus on advanced manufacturing, quality excellence, and global market expansion, solidifying its role in driving India’s high-technology export growth.
