Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. reported total auto sales of 97,177 vehicles in February 2026, registering an 18% year-on-year growth, including exports.
The company’s strong performance was driven by robust demand in the Utility Vehicles (UV) segment, where domestic sales reached 60,018 units, marking a 19% growth compared to 50,420 units in February 2025. Overall SUV sales, including exports, stood at 60,685 units for the month.
Strong Momentum in SUV Segment
Mahindra’s SUV portfolio continued to witness strong traction in the domestic market, contributing significantly to overall passenger vehicle sales. Year-to-date (YTD) February figures show Utility Vehicle sales at 6,00,004 units, up 19% from 5,03,439 units in the same period last fiscal.
Passenger vehicle sales for February 2026 stood at 60,018 units, reflecting sustained consumer demand across Mahindra’s SUV lineup.
Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, said, “February saw SUV sales of 60,018 units, a growth of 19%, reflecting robust customer demand across the portfolio. Total vehicle sales stood at 97,177 units, an 18% year-on-year growth.”
Commercial Vehicles and Three-Wheelers
Domestic commercial vehicle sales totaled 24,585 units in February 2026, representing a 10% increase year-on-year.
In the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) category:
- LCVs between 2T–3.5T grew 12% to 21,416 units.
- LCVs under 2T declined 4% to 3,169 units.
The three-wheeler segment, including electric three-wheelers, recorded a strong 44% surge to 9,190 units during the month. On a year-to-date basis, three-wheeler sales rose 30%.
Exports Register Double-Digit Growth
Total exports for February 2026 stood at 3,384 units, up 11% from 3,059 units in the same month last year. Year-to-date exports increased 21% to 37,022 units.
Mahindra’s total vehicle sales figure of 97,177 units includes SUVs, LCVs (under 3.5 tonnes), three-wheelers, and export volumes.
