VinFast Middle East has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PlusX Electric, a DEWA-approved EV charging and electric mobility solutions provider in the United Arab Emirates, to strengthen the EV ownership ecosystem in the country.
The collaboration is aimed at enhancing charging accessibility, roadside support, and digital integration services for VinFast customers across the UAE. The agreement reinforces VinFast’s strategy to build a comprehensive electric vehicle ecosystem in the Middle East by combining vehicle offerings with reliable charging infrastructure and customer-centric services.
Under the MoU, both companies will collaborate on initiatives covering home, workplace, fleet and on-road charging solutions. The partnership includes plans to deploy Portable EV Charging Pods to offer flexible charging support during vehicle use, along with On-Demand Mobile Charging services for time-sensitive situations.
The two companies will also explore EV Roadside Assistance (RSA) emergency charging services to reduce range anxiety and minimize vehicle downtime. These services are expected to strengthen customer confidence by providing structured workflows and operational readiness across support channels.
In addition, PlusX Electric may become a preferred partner for the supply, installation and aftersales support of home and office chargers for VinFast customers in compliance with UAE regulations. For fleet and commercial clients, the companies plan to evaluate scalable solutions such as DC fast charger leasing and dedicated mobile charging support to ensure operational efficiency.
The partnership will further explore digital integration initiatives, allowing customers to manage charging bookings, access services and receive updates through connected platforms. Potential integration of EV insurance offerings via the PlusX app and co-branding opportunities, including VinFast branding on PlusX Power Pods, are also under consideration.
Do Hoai Linh, CEO of VinFast Middle East, said the collaboration supports the company’s long-term commitment to delivering a reliable EV ownership experience. She noted that working with a DEWA-approved partner ensures alignment with local regulatory standards and operational requirements in the UAE.
Chintan Sareen, Founder and CEO of PlusX Electric, emphasized that dependable charging infrastructure and responsive support services are critical to accelerating EV adoption. He added that the partnership aims to deliver scalable, customer-focused solutions to strengthen sustainable mobility across the UAE.
The agreement highlights VinFast’s broader regional expansion strategy as it continues to build partnerships, enhance aftersales capabilities and contribute to the UAE’s transition toward future-ready, sustainable transportation solutions.
