Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has set a new benchmark in the country’s automotive history by delivering 175,099 electric vehicles (EVs) nationwide in 2025, consolidating its position as the market leader for the 15th consecutive month.

The company also registered the highest-ever monthly vehicle sales by any automaker in Vietnam in December 2025, delivering 27,649 EVs. The strong year-end performance capped what VinFast described as a “record of records,” with annual deliveries nearly doubling the previous national record held by foreign manufacturers.

VinFast’s performance highlights Vietnam’s emergence as one of the fastest-growing electric vehicle markets globally, driven by rising consumer acceptance of clean mobility and competitive domestic manufacturing.

Sales were led by compact and mid-size models such as the VF 3 (44,585 units), VF 5 (43,913 units) and VF 6 (23,291 units), catering to individual buyers and young families. Premium SUVs including the VF 7 (9,653 units), VF 8, VF 9, and the luxury Lac Hong series also contributed significantly to overall volumes.

Commercial-oriented vehicles played a crucial role as well, with the Limo Green MPV recording 27,127 units and the Herio Green contributing 12,568 units. Launched only in August 2025, Limo Green quickly rose to become one of the best-selling seven-seat MPVs in the country, including 10,981 units delivered in December alone.

Commenting on the achievement, Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy CEO of Global Automotive Sales at VinFast, said the company’s 2025 sales doubled compared to the previous year, reflecting growing customer trust in product quality and service standards.

She added that VinFast’s rapid expansion also underlines its leadership role in Vietnam’s transition toward sustainable transportation and predicted that the country could soon become a regional and global reference point in electric mobility adoption.

To support long-term growth, VinFast has aggressively expanded its ecosystem, establishing over 400 service workshops and deploying more than 150,000 charging ports across 34 provinces and cities, the largest such network in Vietnam.

The company has also rolled out the “Boundless Drive for a Green Future” campaign, offering zero-down-payment ownership options, discounts of 6–10 percent on mass-market models, and free charging at V-Green stations until mid-2027 to accelerate EV adoption.

With record sales, an expanding infrastructure footprint and strong government and consumer support for green mobility, VinFast appears firmly positioned at the forefront of Vietnam’s electric vehicle revolution.
