In a landmark move for sustainable logistics in India, BikeWo Green Tech Limited, the country’s leading green mobility start-up, has announced a strategic partnership with Instakart Services Private Limited, the logistics arm of the Flipkart Group. The collaboration is aimed at transforming last-mile delivery operations with the deployment of electric and green vehicles across key Indian markets.
BikeWo has rolled out operations in seven states, backed by a robust network of over 1,300 trained delivery partners and a fleet of tech-enabled green vehicles stationed at Flipkart’s delivery hubs. The initiative promises faster, more reliable, and environmentally friendly deliveries through a structured operational framework encompassing AI-based route optimisation, integrated hub planning, and real-time tracking systems.
“This is more than a partnership; it’s a shared commitment to climate-conscious growth,” said Manideep Katepalli, Managing Director of BikeWo Green Tech Limited. “As e-commerce volumes rise, it’s crucial that logistics keeps pace not just in speed, but in sustainability. We’re proud to enable Flipkart’s push toward a greener future.”
The partnership is executed with a focus on safety, data security, and performance compliance, ensuring strict adherence to Instakart’s operational protocols. Regular submission of hub-wise capacity plans further reinforces the structured nature of the alliance.
Flipkart has publicly committed to converting a significant portion of its last-mile delivery fleet to electric vehicles by 2030, and this partnership marks a substantial step in that direction.
The alliance not only underscores BikeWo’s technological prowess and operational readiness but also positions it as a key player in India’s EV-led logistics revolution. With a vision rooted in sustainability and innovation, BikeWo continues to scale up its zero-emission last-mile services across industries, making this its most significant national engagement to date.
