TVS Motor Company reported monthly sales of 321,687 units in December 2024, marking a 7% increase compared to 301,898 units in December 2023.

Segment-Wise Highlights

Two-Wheelers
Two-wheeler sales grew by 8%, rising from 290,064 units in December 2023 to 312,002 units in December 2024.

  • Domestic Two-Wheelers: Sales remained steady at 215,075 units compared to 214,988 units in December 2023.
  • Motorcycles: Recorded sales of 144,811 units, a slight dip from 148,049 units in December 2023.
  • Scooters: Showed significant growth of 30%, with sales increasing from 103,167 units in December 2023 to 133,919 units in December 2024.

Electric Vehicles (EVs)
The EV segment achieved a remarkable 79% growth, with sales surging from 11,288 units in December 2023 to 20,171 units in December 2024.

International Business
Exports witnessed robust growth, climbing 22% to 104,393 units in December 2024 from 85,391 units in December 2023.

  • Two-Wheeler Exports: Increased by 29%, with sales rising from 75,076 units in December 2023 to 96,927 units in December 2024.

Three-Wheelers
Three-wheeler sales stood at 9,685 units in December 2024, compared to 11,834 units in December 2023.

Third-Quarter Performance

In Q3 of FY 2024-25, TVS Motor Company’s two-wheeler segment posted an 11% growth, reaching 11.8 lakh units compared to 10.6 lakh units in the same quarter of FY 2023-24.

  • EV Sales: Increased by 57%, with 0.76 lakh units sold in Q3 FY 2024-25 versus 0.48 lakh units in Q3 FY 2023-24.
  • Three-Wheelers: Recorded sales of 0.29 lakh units in Q3 FY 2024-25 compared to 0.38 lakh units in Q3 FY 2023-24.
