Godawari Electric Motors has unveiled its latest innovation, the eblu Cety, on World EV Day. This new auto-shaped e-rickshaw is set to revolutionize urban mobility with a price tag of INR 1,99,999/- ex-showroom. The eblu Cety, designed to meet the rising demand for sustainable urban transport, offers seating for a driver and four passengers, making it an ideal solution for city commuting.
The eblu Cety features a wheelbase of 2170mm, an overall width of 993mm, an overall length of 2795mm, and an overall height of 1782mm, with a minimum ground clearance of 240mm. The e-rickshaw is capable of reaching speeds of up to 25 km/h and provides a driving range of 95 km per charge. Its design includes high visibility features and an automatic wiper for enhanced convenience.

The eblu Cety is powered by a robust Li-Ion battery with a voltage of 51.2V and a capacity of 100Ah, delivering a peak power of 1.6kW and peak torque of 20Nm. It offers forward and reverse modes for versatility, an ergonomically designed seat, and optional navigation. The vehicle features ample legroom and a handle locking mechanism for security. It comes with a 12-month or 20,000 km warranty, and the battery and charger are covered for 3 years or 80,000 km.
Externally, the eblu Cety is equipped with a front DCPD and rear sheet metal body, combining durability with a modern look. It includes a home charger of 48V, 20Amp that charges the battery in 4 hours and 30 minutes. The suspension system comprises a dual front fork with telescopic shock absorbers and coil springs at the front, and a leaf spring with 6 leaves at the rear, ensuring a smooth ride on uneven surfaces. Safety is further enhanced by a mechanical drum brake system and 3.75×12 inch, 4PR tyres for stability and grip.
