In a bid to bolster India’s EV infrastructure, Terra Charge has unveiled its latest innovation, the TAKA 30 kW quick charger. Launched following the success of its 3.3 kW models KIWAMI and TAKUMI earlier this year, Terra Charge aims to meet the escalating demand for efficient charging solutions.

TAKA, developed entirely in-house, promises enhanced quality and cost efficiency, with investment savings projected between 20-30%. Priced competitively at 420,000 INR, the charger is positioned to offer Japanese standards of reliability at an appealing price point. When paired with Terra Charge’s proprietary software, prospective Charging Point Operators (CPOs) can swiftly enter the market, facilitating the rapid expansion of EV charging infrastructure.

Designed with a robust metal body and boasting IP54 weather protection, TAKA ensures durability against harsh environmental conditions. Its advanced communication features, including OCPP1.6J, GSM-4G, and WiFi connectivity, guarantee seamless interaction with users. The charger also integrates IoT capabilities for efficient charging management, aligning with Terra Charge’s commitment to technological excellence.
