Hero Lectro, Firefox Bikes Ltd’s electric cycle brand, has introduced its latest models: the H4 and H7+. Priced at an introductory rate of INR 32,499 and INR 33,499 respectively, these bicycles are tailored for the Indian market.
The H4 is offered in Mystic Purple and Distance Red color options, while the Hero Lectro H7+ provides consumers with a choice between Lava Red and Storm Yellow Grey, the company stated. Engineered for short-distance travel, both the H4 and H7+ boast a range of innovative features to elevate the riding experience.
These include a detachable 7.8 Ah capacity battery, offering an impressive range of up to 40 km on a single charge with a quick charging time of 4.5 hours. Additionally, for enhanced security, the models feature a key ignition system to add an extra layer of protection, as per the company’s media release.

Of the two newly introduced products, the H4 provides an appealing option for towns beyond major cities, offering a cost-effective solution compared to traditional internal combustion engine vehicles such as scooters and scooties. With the potential to save up to INR 40,000 per year in travel expenses, the H4 features a unisex frame suitable for all riders.
Conversely, the H7+ caters to urban commuters, positioning itself as the ultimate sustainable choice for city travel. With zero emissions, the H7+ has the potential to decrease around 800 kilograms of CO2 emissions annually when compared to internal combustion engine (ICE) alternatives.
Additionally, both bikes feature a high torque 250W BLDC Motor, capable of propelling riders to a maximum speed of up to 25 kilometers per hour on the throttle. Featuring an IP67 rating, both the H4 and H7+ guarantee resistance to dust and water, ensuring durability in diverse weather conditions. Riders can enjoy additional comfort and safety features such as an LED display, cushioned seat, chain guard, disc brakes, 4-finger alloy brake lever, and anti-skid pedals with reflectors.
Moreover, the H7+ is equipped with front suspensions to facilitate rides across various terrains, and its MTB Tyres offer improved traction on different surfaces. The Hero Lectro H4 and H7+ are available at over 500 Firefox Bikes stores across India, including major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Guwahati, Bhopal, Chennai, Jodhpur, Pune, among others, the release noted.
