Dacia has unveiled the highly anticipated updated version of its Spring EV, an electric hatchback based on the Kwid EV. The new model showcases a significantly refreshed design, aligning with Dacia’s latest design philosophy and drawing inspiration from the new Duster.

The Dacia Spring EV features a more contemporary appearance with a bold front grille, LED headlamps, SUV-style skid plate, and bumper intakes, reminiscent of the Duster.

The side profile reveals new design wheels, tweaked fenders, and a C pillar with added ribbon for a crossover stance. The rear boasts a sporty makeover with a black trim connecting LED taillights, plastic cladding on the bumper, and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin receives a modern update with a seven-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system. However, entry-level models may not feature these upgrades. The dashboard, AC vents, gear shifter, and dashboard-mounted tray have been redesigned, providing a refreshed interior.

The electric Spring EV maintains its powertrain, featuring a 26.8 kWh battery pack offering a 220 km range on a single charge. The specifications of the powertrain remain consistent, and the updated model introduces new color options like Brick Red and Safari Beige.

The vehicle retains its practicality with a 35-litre capacity frunk and a 308-litre capacity boot storage. Additionally, it retains bi-directional charging capabilities, allowing the owner to charge the battery and power electric devices.
