Tata Motors, a prominent player in India’s automobile and mobility solutions sector, has announced the appointment of Mr. Sitaram Kandi as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of the company, commencing from April 1, 2024.
In his new capacity, Mr. Kandi will also become a member of the Tata Motors Executive Committee, signifying his integral role in the strategic decision-making process of the organization.
Currently overseeing Human Resources for Tata Motors’ Passenger Vehicle and Electric Vehicle divisions, as well as leading initiatives related to Employee Relations and Skill Building, Mr. Kandi brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
Mr. Kandi will succeed Mr. Ravindra Kumar G.P., who has held the position of CHRO at Tata Motors since 2018. Mr. Kumar will transition to a new role within the Tata Group.
With a distinguished career spanning three decades, Mr. Kandi is an alumnus of the esteemed Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies. Prior to joining Tata Motors in 2019, he has held key HR and Industrial Relations roles in renowned global companies such as Bosch, Monsanto, and General Electric, both in India and overseas.
