In a significant move, Raptee, the cutting-edge Premium EV Motorcycle Startup, has recently announced the appointment of Mr. C Suresh as its Head of Operations. With an impressive track record spanning over 25 years in major auto brands including TVS Motors, Royal Enfield, Mahindra, Ather, and Ola Electric, Suresh is set to play a pivotal role in Raptee’s future endeavors.
At Raptee, Suresh’s mandate includes constructing a comprehensive portfolio of operations encompassing manufacturing engineering, quality control, sourcing, supply chain management, and project management. His focus lies in establishing robust processes and assembling a formidable team. Notably, Suresh will oversee the strategic planning and rollout of Raptee’s highly anticipated products in the near future. His immediate agenda includes constructing additional facilities to meet the projected demand for Raptee Motorcycles.

Suresh’s extensive experience includes managing more than 13 new product launches in his career and overseeing supplier relationships across India and international markets, including Vietnam, China, Taiwan, and Europe. He is renowned for his customer-oriented approach, incorporating customer interactions and feedback sessions into new product development strategies.

Raptee is currently gearing up to launch its first motorcycle early next year. The company is developing a premium range of 2W motorcycles characterized by advanced technology, including an on-board charger compatible with CCS2 charging stations. These indigenously designed motorcycles boast over 45 registered patents and feature Bluetooth connectivity, intelligent throttle mapping, and blind-spot detection, ensuring maximum safety for riders. Recently, Raptee secured $3 million in a Pre-Series A funding round and has established a new state-of-the-art factory in Chennai, marking significant progress in its growth trajectory.
