As the world prepares to celebrate World EV Day, Tresa Motors is thrilled to introduce India’s pioneering eAxle, the DAX1, alongside an upgraded version of its medium and heavy electric truck platform, known as Model V0.1, capable of transporting loads ranging from 18 to 55 tons.
The DAX-1 is driven by Tresa’s cutting-edge FLUX350 platform motors, boasting a power range from 150 kW to 350 kW. Remarkably, this motor weighs just under 25 kg, yet it delivers an impressive 350 kW of power, ensuring unmatched performance and efficiency.
Tresa’s battery packs, known as Meg50, offer a substantial 50 kWh capacity. These packs prioritize both safety and performance. What sets the Meg50 packs apart is their unique immersion in dielectric liquid, providing 360-degree cooling to the cells while acting as a fire retardant, setting new industry standards.
This flagship truck, Model V0.1, exemplifies the versatility of battery packs. This modularity allows for range expansion even after the truck’s purchase. Depending on the desired range and application, Model V can accommodate up to 12 modules of Meg50.
Tresa Trucks is not only revolutionizing technology but also enhancing the driver experience. Model V’s cabins are designed with central seating for drivers, offering an elevated view of the road. These trucks are equipped with air conditioning and airbags, ensuring driver comfort and safety. Leveraging LIDAR and AI technology, our trucks are poised to be among the safest in the world.
Tresa Motors continues to redefine the electric vehicle landscape, setting new standards in performance, safety, and driver satisfaction.
Mr. Vinod K. Dasari, the Chairman of Tresa Motors said, “The surge in EV adoption is a testament to the growing awareness of both the environmental imperatives and the economic opportunities that electrification brings.
At Tresa Motors, we’re not just witnessing this change, we’re actively leveraging Indian ingenuity by not only making, but also designing in India. And at all time, our focus remains on enhancing profitability for our customers and comfort for the drivers.”
Founder and CEO, Rohan Shravan, Tresa Motors further added, “Today we are proud to be able to showcase our truck, motors, and eAxle to you, which has been created after years of real hard work to arrive at something that puts India on the global map.”
It’s worth noting that there are only a handful of companies in the world that are capable of manufacturing eAxles with axial flux motors for medium and heavy truck applications. Tresa Motors proudly stands as the sole manufacturer of the axial flux motor-powered eAxle in India, showcasing the nation’s prowess in EV technology.
With the launch of the Model V0.1, Tresa is inching closer to entering road trials with its partners.
