The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has announced a tender for the establishment of 22 public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across its jurisdiction.
The initiative will follow a build, own, and operate model, where the chosen bidder will be responsible for the project’s operation and maintenance for a period of eight years.
Interested parties can submit their bids online until September 14, 2023, with bid opening scheduled for September 18. The anticipated project cost is approximately Rs. 151.8 million.
Bidders are required to provide an earnest money deposit of Rs. 759,000, and the selected bidder must furnish a security deposit of Rs.7.59 million through a bank guarantee before the agreement’s execution.
