To establish the state as a global manufacturing hub for electric vehicles, special attention is given to skill development in this sector. The Centre of Excellence in Pulivendula is a state-of-the-art facility designed like a real electric vehicle assembly line, enabling students to gain practical experience in component assembly, system integration, and battery pack development.
Multiple screens with videos and animations are used to explain the assembly process in detail. The initiative is praised for addressing the shortage of skilled manpower in the electric vehicle industry.
The 6-month EV Masterclass program is open to diploma and engineering students, offering hands-on training and placement support. The skill academy also provides hostel facilities for up to 300 students.
