Vida, Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand, has begun deliveries of its electric scooter Vida V1. A customer received the first electric scooter from the brand’s Experience Center, Bengaluru. According to the company, deliveries will begin in phases in other cities.
The Vida V1 electric scooter features removable batteries and three-way charging options for both the Vida V1 Plus as well as V1 Pro versions. The company claims the electric vehicle can reach speeds of 0-40 km/h in 3.2 seconds and has a range of 163 km that is IDC-certified. This vehicle can reach speeds of 80 kmph.
Pawan Munjal (CEO, of Hero MotoCorp) stated, “With the start of customer deliveries we are beginning to realize what our vision is. I invite you to enjoy the VIDA V1’s industry-leading features and performance, as well as the worry-free EV ecosystem of VIDA.”
Swadesh Srivastava (Head, Emerging Mobility Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp) stated, “We are thrilled to begin customer deliveries of VIDA V1. Deliveries will begin in Bengaluru and then move to other cities in a gradual manner. This is similar to the roll-out of physical assets in our Omnichannel Approach.”
VIDA V1 features include Custom Mode (100+ combinations), boost mode, cruise control, keyless access, and a 7-inch TFT Touch-Screen that is over-the-air-enabled. VIDA V1’s intelligent platform is modular, flexible, and scalable, which allows it to adapt and learn on the go.
