Gulf Oil Lubricants India, a Hinduja Group company, has entered into an exclusive partnership with Altigreen to supply fluids for electric vehicles like brakes as well as gear oils.

The tie-up will allow Gulf to manufacture customized EV fluids for Altigreen and provide access to its R&D capabilities, allowing it to build a comprehensive portfolio of fluids specifically designed for EV use.

In September 2021, Gulf launched its range of EV fluids. These products included Gulf Formula Hybrid, Gulf eLEC Coolant, Gulf eLEC Brake Fluid, and Gulf eLEC Driveline Fluid.

Altigreen’s first product, AGP Gear Oil, will soon be available through its service and sales channels. These and other specially formulated Gulf EV Fluids are now the power source for Altigreen’s cargo electric three-wheelers.

Ravi Chawla (MD & CEO of Gulf Oil India) and Dr. Amitabh Saran (Co-founder & CEO of Altigreen in Bengaluru), signed the strategic agreement.

“This partnership highlights the commitment of both brands to India in helping it achieve its environmental goals partly through the advancement on electrification by 2030. Chawla stated that Gulf is optimistic about providing significant solutions to improve the efficiency and performance of EVs through their collective efforts towards developing the e-mobility ecosystem.”
