Ola Electric, a Bengaluru-based electric vehicle startup, announced that it will expand its D2C footprint by opening 14 new Ola Experience Centers in 11 Indian cities. Three experience centers have been opened in Bengaluru by the company, along with two in Pune. There are also one in Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Ranchi, Hyderabad, Kota, Dehradun, Delhi, Vadodara, and Bhopal.
Ola Electric has more than 50 experience centers across India. The company previously announced it would open more than 200 Indian experience centers by March 2023. However, the company now plans to reach this goal by the end of this year. Ola’s experience centers double as one-stop destinations to provide all post-sales support and maintenance for its electric scooters.
Anshul Khandelwal (CMO, Ola Electric) commented on the matter. “EV enthusiasts absolutely love the holistic experience that Ola Experience Centres provide by serving as a go-to place for them to touch, feel and clarify their queries and avail support both prior and after they purchase.”
He added that “To ensure more people have the opportunity to experience our products in a more immersive way, we are rapidly expanding our offline footprint throughout the country with the aim to open 200 centers by the end of this financial year.”
Ola Electric currently offers the S1, S1 Air, and S1 Pro electric scooters in its product range. The Ola S1, S1 Air, and S1 Pro are priced at Rs.99,999 Rs. 84,999, and Rs. 1.30 lakh ex-showroom.
