Mahindra & Mahindra announced that it has partnered with three electric vehicle infrastructure partners that include Jio-bp, Charge+Zone, and Statiq to provide charging solutions for its upcoming passenger electric vehicles.
These partnerships will allow Mahindra EV owners seamless access to a strong fast-charging infrastructure as well as e-mobility solutions that span across navigation, discovery, availability, and transactions.
Recently, Mahindra launched its first all-electric SUV, XUV400.
The company also presented a new range of electric vehicles earlier this year at an event in the UK. It plans to introduce them in India in the coming years.
“We are looking forward to bringing viable, profitable, and efficient EV solutions in order to accelerate the mass adoption of battery EVs in India and we are thrilled to have joined hands to build our upcoming range,” Veejay Nakra, president of Mahindra Automotive Division, said in a statement.
He said that the company views these partnerships as an opportunity for customers to get robust EV infrastructure solutions quickly. It will also be a step towards India’s net zero goals.
