Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility reported that it sold 4,261 electric two-wheelers in the month of September 2022. This represents a 70% increase in YoY.
In September 2021, the company sold 2,500 electric two-wheelers. The company saw a 146% month-on-month growth compared to August 2022 when it had sold 1,729 units.
The company’s positive customer sentiments combined with the ease of supply chain problems have resulted in a sales increase of 55% over Q2 FY22 when it had sold 5,446 electric two-wheelers.
Yatin Gupte is the chairman and managing director of WardWizard Innovations and Mobility. He said that there is strong demand for the products due to the positive customer sentiments and the festive spirit. We are seeing high demand across all touchpoints as the infrastructure for electric mobility improves and so does our supply chain.
He added, “We expect strong retail, aided by the festive season as well as the constant need for mobility. We have begun to sell our electric two-wheelers in Nepal in September. We are also exploring other opportunities in global markets.”
