CESL Issues A Tender To Set Up 80 EV Chargers Across India

Convergence Energy Services Limited, CESL issues a tender to choose vendors for planning, design, engineering, installation, supply, testing, commissioning and location survey for 80 CCS2 50/60 kW electric vehicle chargers to be installed across the country.

The selected vendors must give 3 years of on-site warranty plus annual maintenance of the charges for 10 years. The last date to submit a bid for this tender is August 10.

A non-refundable fee of Rs25,000 must be paid by the bidders for bidding documents. Bidders must be EV charger manufacturers from the past 3 years, the last financial year for a startup.

Earlier, CESL issued a tender to install 810 electric vehicle charging stations on 16 expressways and highways across the country for electric four-wheelers.

Recently, The Ministry of Heavy Industries sanctioned 2,877 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in 68 cities across 25 States/UTs under Phase-II of FAME India (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid &) Electric Vehicles in India). Further, 1576 charging stations have also been sanctioned across 9 Expressways and 16 Highways under Phase II of the FAME India Scheme.
