Simple Energy Will Begin Testing 'Simple One' Electric Scooter From July 20 In Indian Cities

Simple Energy will begin testing its flagship electric vehicle offering, the Simple One e-scooter. This test ride will take place from July 20. Rides will take place in India at specific locations, with the first one being held in Bangalore. The Simple One electric scooter test ride will take place in 13 cities throughout India.

Test rides for the Simple One will take place in Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune and Panaji with other cities. On the company’s website, customers can book test rides. Simple Energy will offer rides in additional cities over the next few months. After the tests, Simple Energy will begin deliveries of its Simple One e-scooter.

There are two options for the Simple One: Standard and Long Range. The first variant has a claimed range of 203km and cost Rs 1,09,999. While the Long Range configuration claims a range of 300km with a price of 1,44,999. Both are ex-showroom. On the company’s website, you can book The Simple One for Rs 1,947.

Suhas Rajkumar, Founder and CEO of Simple Energy said, “We are delighted to begin the test rides and give customers a sense of what we have been building. We aim to offer the maximum number of test rides to those who have been waiting to ride the Simple One. Additionally, we plan to add more cities in the coming months.”
