CESL has floated a tender and invited for expression of interest for OEM empanelment for electric two wheelers in the state of Kerala. Under the Fame 2 Scheme, E-2W is the only segment covered for incentives under the private ownership with an outlay of Rs.2000 cr.
The scheme is applicable only for Kerala State government employees for whom the vehicle will be available for upfront purchase.CESL will empanel the OEMS to facilitate the supply of E2Ws to consumers based on the EOI document.
