Bolt.Earth, India’s largest EV charging network, has announced a strategic collaboration with Simple Energy to strengthen the country’s two-wheeler fast-charging ecosystem and accelerate mainstream electric vehicle adoption.
As part of the partnership, all Simple Energy Gen 2 electric scooters are fully compatible with Bolt.Earth’s Blaze DC fast chargers. The collaboration will focus on expanding access to Bolt.Earth’s Blaze DC Type-6 chargers (LEVDC standard), available in 3kW and 6kW variants, enabling Simple riders to benefit from faster, reliable, and efficient charging across India.
The companies confirmed that compatibility for Gen 1 Simple Energy vehicles will be introduced through an upcoming software update rollout, extending fast-charging support to a broader rider base.
Currently, Bolt.Earth has deployed over 270 Blaze DC chargers across more than 100 cities nationwide. Riders can seamlessly locate and access these chargers using the Bolt.Earth EV Charging App, ensuring a smooth and frictionless charging experience. Additionally, integration of Bolt.Earth chargers within the Simple Connect App is under development, aimed at delivering a unified and intuitive user interface for customers.
The collaboration underscores both companies’ shared vision of scaling next-generation EV infrastructure while enhancing rider convenience. By combining Simple Energy’s advanced vehicle technology with Bolt.Earth’s expanding fast-charging network, the partnership aims to set a new benchmark for accessibility and reliability in India’s electric two-wheeler segment.
Commenting on the development, S. Raghav Bharadwaj, CEO and Founder of Bolt.Earth, said the company remains committed to making EV charging accessible, reliable, and future-ready. He noted that fast charging is crucial for mainstream EV adoption and that the partnership will help provide riders with greater convenience and confidence on every journey.
The alliance is expected to play a key role in strengthening India’s evolving EV ecosystem as demand for electric two-wheelers continues to grow across urban and semi-urban markets.
