In a major push for sustainable mobility in South India, Enigma EV, one of India’s fastest-growing electric two-wheeler manufacturers, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with integrated EV platform evPe to deploy 1,000 purpose-built e-bikes by the end of 2025. The rollout begins immediately, with the first batch of 200 electric bikes already operational in Hyderabad, aimed at fleet and gig economy riders.

This strategic collaboration marks Enigma’s formal entry into the Hyderabad market and aligns with evPe’s mission to make electric mobility more accessible, efficient, and reliable for gig workers, fleet operators, and last-mile delivery providers across urban India.

Our partnership with evPe is a key milestone in our South India expansion, said Anmol Bohhre, Co-founder & CEO of Enigma EV. These bikes are purpose-built for uptime, featuring reinforced chassis, optimized battery management systems, and fast-track servicing options. The 1,000-bike MoU is a testament to the shared trust and vision between our teams, and supports our goal of crossing 10,000 fleet sales by FY 2026.

Founded in 2015, Enigma EV has built a solid reputation by supplying electric vehicles to institutions such as the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and BARC. With an aggressive B2B growth strategy, the company aims to sell 21,000 units over the next two years, with Hyderabad serving as a critical market for this expansion.

evPe, known for its integrated mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) platform, offers a full-stack EV ecosystem that includes leasing, financing, charging infrastructure, insurance, and end-of-life vehicle management. The company supports gig economy workers and fleet operators with dependable, revenue-generating EV solutions.

Rohan Yeggina, Founder & CEO of evPe, remarked, “Electric mobility must be reliable and profitable for the rider—and Enigma delivers on both fronts. With 200 bikes already on the road, we’ve hit the ground running. This MoU is just the beginning of a deeper collaboration to scale dependable electric fleets across India.”

The Enigma-evPe partnership aims to redefine urban mobility, starting in Hyderabad and expanding to other high-demand cities over the next two quarters. The move is expected to significantly reduce carbon emissions, lower operating costs for fleet users, and support India’s broader transition to clean, inclusive, and sustainable transportation systems.
