After its global premiere, the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA is making waves once again—this time through a boundary-pushing collaboration with five visionary creatives. Dubbed the CLA ‘Class of Creators’, the initiative brings together innovators from across music, fashion, design, gaming, and pop culture, beginning with breakout music icon Ice Spice, and continuing with Gustaf Westman, KidSuper, League of Legends, and Hot Wheels throughout the year.

A Daring Debut: Ice Spice Remixes the CLA

The journey began in Rome and arrived in New York City, where Ice Spice revealed her custom art-car remix of the CLA at the grand reopening of Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan. The four-time Grammy-nominated artist unveiled a one-of-a-kind CLA wrapped in molten chrome, adorned with signature details including her “Princess of Rap” diamond chain—blending Mercedes-Benz luxury with her distinctive style.

Her creative vision also extends into a limited-edition capsule collection featuring black and pastel tees, hoodies, and more—launching soon. As a native New Yorker who burst onto the scene in 2021, Ice Spice was a natural choice to kick off the Class of Creators campaign with her fearless, empowering style.

Grand Opening: Stars, Sounds & Slices in NYC

To celebrate the grand reopening of the newly renovated Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan, the dealership hosted 350 guests—from customers to creatives—for a night of New York flair. Themed “Stars, Sounds & Slices”, the event featured a performance by the cast of Broadway’s Hell’s Kitchen, high-energy beats from Brooklyn-based DJ LPX, and the official debut of the CLA as the centerpiece of this cultural celebration.

This global initiative invites each creator to reimagine the CLA through their unique lens—transforming it into a canvas that celebrates identity, artistry, and innovation. From fashion to gaming, each collaboration will culminate in an exclusive reveal, with some creators releasing capsule collections tied to their designs.
