In a significant move for India’s micro-mobility sector, MS Dhoni-backed EMotorad and Booz Mobility, a Shark Tank-featured company, have entered a strategic partnership to revolutionize electric transportation. This collaboration marks the first-ever partnership between an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and a micro-mobility operator in India.
Under this agreement, EMotorad will be the exclusive supplier of electric kick scooters to Booz Mobility, powering the company’s entire fleet for intra-campus mobility in gated communities. Booz Mobility is Asia’s first and only electric kick scooter fleet operator serving gated communities, offering EV Fleet-As-A-Subscription services to metro areas.
Kunal Gupta, CEO of EMotorad, highlighted the importance of the partnership, saying, “This collaboration aligns perfectly with our vision to shape the future of Indian electric transportation. Our Lil E kick scooters combine innovation, design, and performance, and we’re excited to start this journey with Booz Mobility.”
EMotorad plans to supply 500 electric kick scooters to Booz Mobility by the end of FY25. These scooters will support Booz’s mission to offer eco-friendly transportation solutions, enhancing short-distance commuting within metro cities.
Rutvij Dasadia, Founder of Booz Mobility, also expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “This collaboration will reshape how people view micro-mobility in India, addressing short commute challenges. By 2025, we aim to serve around 850 million square feet of gated premises with sustainable and efficient commuting solutions.”
This deal signifies a key milestone in India’s electric mobility ecosystem, positioning both companies as leaders in the future of intra-campus transportation.
