Bounce Infinity, a prominent Bengaluru-based leader in electric scooters, has announced a strategic partnership with BaaYu, an EV Bike-Taxi initiative by Bikozee Ecotech Pvt. Ltd. partners with Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC). This collaboration aims to expand the presence of electric vehicles (EVs) in Assam, marking a significant milestone in Bounce Infinity’s mission to enhance the accessibility and efficiency of electric transportation across India.
As part of this partnership, Bounce Infinity has supplied over 100 scooters to BaaYu’s fleet and will facilitate the establishment of a private, localized battery-swapping network exclusively accessible to BaaYu.
Vivekananda H, CEO of Bounce Infinity, emphasized the company’s commitment to addressing transportation challenges in cities like Guwahati, particularly in light of infrastructure development and workforce growth. This collaboration underscores the importance of public-private partnerships in fostering innovative and sustainable urban mobility models in India.
Bounce Infinity has introduced a unique service model designed to support fleet operators with reliable electric scooters, doorstep maintenance, and float batteries, minimizing downtime for maintenance and ensuring smooth business operations. This approach leverages Bounce Infinity’s expertise in fleet management to provide innovative support.
Sumit Das, CEO of Bikozee Ecotech, highlighted the partnership’s role in promoting sustainability in Assam and improving transportation convenience for commuters. Additionally, the collaboration aims to create 5,000 livelihood opportunities for driver-partners in Assam.
Backed by the Shoonya Zero pollution mobility campaign of NITI Aayog, the “Baayu – Clean Air Movement” initiative seeks to improve air quality and public health in Assam by introducing electric vehicles into the transportation and logistics industries. Bounce Infinity, with its expanding dealership network nationwide, is actively contributing to the shift towards eco-friendly and affordable transport solutions.
