Biliti Electric Commences Construction Of Electric Three-Wheeler Manufacturing Facility In Hyderabad

Biliti Electric, based in California, has commenced the construction of a new facility for manufacturing electric three-wheelers and advanced Li-Ion battery packs in Velimela, Hyderabad, Telangana.

The company is investing over INR 400 crore in the 13-acre facility, with a target production capacity of 2,000 electric three-wheelers per month, aiming to create more than 10,000 job opportunities.

The groundbreaking ceremony, attended by Jennifer Larson, Consul General of the USA in Hyderabad, marked a significant step in Biliti Electric’s expansion in India.

The company specializes in scalable battery-swapping networks for urban mobility and energy storage, with a global presence in 15 countries across five continents.

CEO Raja Gayam highlighted the company’s vision to reshape last-mile mobility globally. Biliti Electric operates assembly plants in the United States, Portugal, and Kenya, and its technology, Taskman, is utilized by major entities worldwide.
