In February 2024, TVS Motor Company achieved a notable milestone by recording monthly sales of 368,424 units, marking a substantial 33% growth compared to February 2023, which saw sales of 276,150 units.
Within the two-wheeler segment, total sales surged by 34%, reaching 357,810 units compared to 267,026 units in February 2023. Domestic two-wheeler sales witnessed a commendable 21% growth, rising from 221,402 units in February 2023 to 267,502 units in February 2024.
The motorcycle segment experienced robust growth, soaring by 46% from 126,243 units in February 2023 to 184,023 units in February 2024. Similarly, scooter sales witnessed a notable 26% growth, with sales escalating from 104,825 units in February 2023 to 132,152 units in February 2024.
In the electric vehicle (EV) category, sales demonstrated a solid 16% increase, climbing from 15,522 units in February 2023 to 17,959 units in February 2024.
TVS Motor Company’s international business segment also witnessed remarkable growth, with total exports surging by an impressive 85%, from 53,405 units in February 2023 to 98,856 units in February 2024. Two-wheeler exports experienced an exceptional 98% growth, reaching 90,308 units in February 2024 compared to 45,624 units in February 2023.
The three-wheeler segment also showed positive growth, with sales increasing by 16% from 9,124 units in February 2023 to 10,614 units in February 2024.
