Quiklyz To Offer EVs For Leasing & Subscription

Quiklyz will offer the multi-brand electric vehicles range for leasing and subscription to probable customers. Companies like Tata Motors, MG Motors, Jaguar, Piaggio, Mahindra, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi are available on Quiklyz platform. The company also plans to add more electric vehicles to its portfolio and will create EV subscription products for the customers. ‘Quiklyz’ is a new-age digital platform for vehicle leasing and subscription, that aims to provide great convenience, flexibility, and choice to customers across cities. Quiklyz is the first-of-its-kind digital journey on car usership with which the customer can access a brand-new car without all the hassles of car ownership.

TVS Signs MoU With Swiggy For Electrification

TVS Motor Company, a reputed manufacturer of two-wheelers and three-wheelers globally, announced a strategic partnership with Swiggy, India’s leading on-demand delivery platform. This partnership highlights TVS Motor Company’s commitment to strengthen electrification across diverse mobility segments and aligns with Swiggy’s many efforts to enable the adoption of EVs in its delivery fleet. As part of the MoU, TVS Motor and Swiggy will test the implementation of TVS Motor’s EV for food delivery and other on-demand services of Swiggy.

Omega Seiki With Jae Sung To Build In-house Electric Powertrain

On Thursday, Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) and Jae Sung Tech, a Korean EV powertrain manufacturer, announced the formation of a new Joint Venture (JV) – OSM Jae Sung Tech Co., LTD – to fabricate electric powertrains in India. With Jae Sung delivering its years of expertise in technical know-how, and OSM will bring manufacturing prowess to localize the powertrain, the initial product of the JV will be the Ra314 powertrain, which will be available in Q1 FY23 with OSM’s freight electric three-wheeler Rage+. The new powertrain will be built by OSM in the facility of its group company, Omega Bright Steel and Components, in Faridabad and Pune. OSM will test and calibrate the Ra314 for typical Indian driving circumstances.

Zypp Electric Partners with TSAW Drones to Boost Last Mile Deliveries

India’s leading Tech-Enabled EV-as-a-Service Shared Electric Mobility platform, Zypp Electric has partnered with TSAW Drones to add drone delivery in their Portfolio for last-mile delivery services. Under this partnership, Zypp Electric and TSAW Drones plan to deploy 200 drones for last mile delivery in the first phase in 4 cities – Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune. TSAW Drones is a startup company that works on introducing drones in logistics. This startup builds an end-to-end intelligent technology stack including smart GCS, UTM and AI-assisted smart fleet health management for drones to deliver all kinds of loads.

134 EV Charging Stations To Set Up Soon In Mumbai Amid EV Surge

Beginning this month, the state has embarked on a huge drive to boost the number of electric vehicles (EV) charging stations in Mumbai. The government has set a goal to set up 1,500 EV charging stations in the next few years, with the first batch of 134 expected to unfurl in the city soon. The state has requested expressions of interest (EoI) for the same for a 12-year lease to establish EV charging stations in Mumbai. This is in addition to charging stations being installed at 27 BEST terminals and all 29 BMC public parking spaces in Mumbai.

CESL To Install 900 EV Charging Stations In 2021

Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) will install 900 plus electric vehicle charging stations in India in 2022. 396 EV charging stations have already been installed in the country. CESL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) which is an entity under the Ministry of Power. CESL’s MD Mahua Acharya said, “As of date, 396 charging stations have been installed across the country, out of which 166 are commissioned. When we see a projection for 2022, we are doing all we can to expand the number of charging stations in the country – including install or enable the installation of another 900 more.”

Altigreen Joins Hands With Massive Mobility to Install 25k On-Demand EV Charging Stations In 2 Years

India’s leading commercial Electric Vehicle manufacturer Altigreen has joined hands with Delhi-based EV charging solutions start-up Massive Mobility to install 25,000 on-demand charging stations in the next two years. The Bengaluru-based company is already catalysing the EV ecosystem and last-mile delivery in the country with its on-road commercial electric 3Ws and it has now mandated Massive Mobility to set up charging stations in towns and cities across the country.  With this step, the 2 companies will put to rest the concerns over in-city charging infrastructure.
