Bounce and Park+ have partnered to build an electric vehicle ecosystem in India. Together, the companies will install around 3500 battery swapping stations in 10 cities of the country.
Vivekananda Hallakere, Co-Founder and CEO, Bounce, said, “Our objective is to have our battery swapping stations to be within one kilometre of wherever you are and to enable this we have partnered with Park+.”
Battery swapping stations will be installed at malls, residential societies, corporate offices, and key parking spaces. Users can install the Bounce application or the Park+ application to find the nearest station.
The concept of swapping stations is similar to that of a fuel station. Stations will have ready-to-go and charged batteries that their users can swap with the nearest station in less than a minute.
Apart from this, Bounce will launch Bounce Infinity, the company’s first electric scooter on 2nd December.
