This accomplishment, attained just over two months after the car’s launch, underscores the strong demand for BYD’s advanced electric vehicles in the country. The surge in bookings reflects a growing interest in technologically advanced, high-performance, and competitively priced luxury electric vehicles (EVs).
The BYD SEAL has garnered attention from Indian consumers due to its impressive performance and attractive pricing. Available in three variants – Dynamic, Premium, and Performance – the car offers specifications catering to diverse driving preferences. The Performance variant boasts a remarkable 0-to-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.8 seconds, while the Premium variant offers an exceptional driving range of 650 km on a single charge. With prices ranging from ₹41,00,000 to ₹53,00,000 (ex-showroom), BYD aims to make eco-conscious EVs accessible to a broader segment of Indian car buyers.

The BYD SEAL has been recognized with an iF Design Award and incorporates advanced features like Cell to Body (CTB) technology and intelligence Torque Adaption Control (iTAC). Built on the updated e-Platform 3.0, the car offers optional rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, advanced suspensions, and superior acceleration. Additionally, its aerodynamics and interior space are enhanced by the CTB technology, which integrates the battery within the chassis structure, ensuring safety and maximizing passenger comfort.
