Emerging electric mobility startup CollarEV has launched ‘CollarEV Moon’, a purpose-built electric two-wheeler designed specifically for the B2B delivery and logistics market in India. The vehicle is aimed at meeting the growing demand for reliable, durable, and cost-effective electric mobility solutions for last-mile delivery operations.

The launch comes at a time when India’s two-wheeler market is witnessing strong growth. The country recorded over 20 million two-wheeler sales in 2025, while electric two-wheelers accounted for about 1.4 million units, indicating a major opportunity for EV adoption. However, the company noted that most electric scooters currently focus on the consumer segment, leaving the commercial delivery space relatively underserved.

The CollarEV Moon is designed for high-utilisation fleet operations and offers a range of around 135 km on a single charge. It is powered by a 51.2V, 45Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack with a capacity of 2.3 kWh. The vehicle supports fast charging, enabling 0–80% charge in about two hours and a full charge in approximately 2.5 hours, making it suitable for continuous delivery operations.

In terms of performance, the electric two-wheeler is equipped with a BLDC hub motor delivering 1500W rated power and 2200W peak power, with a top speed of 50 km/h. The motor generates 95 Nm torque at the wheel, supporting strong load-carrying capability. Built for rugged commercial usage, the vehicle features dual disc brakes, 12-inch wheels, and a payload capacity of up to 150 kg.

Speaking on the launch, Tikendra Yadav said the current B2B electric two-wheeler market in India is largely dominated by low-cost imported vehicles that often struggle with durability and after-sales reliability. He said the new vehicle has been designed with a minimalist yet robust metal chassis and body structure to reduce maintenance requirements while ensuring long-term performance for fleet operators.

The vehicle also integrates smart fleet-management features, including a TFT display with telematics for asset tracking and fleet monitoring, as well as keyless start and stop functionality. Additionally, the platform supports multi-utility attachment options, allowing businesses to customise the vehicle for various delivery and logistics applications.

The LFP battery pack is designed to deliver over 1,000 charging cycles, providing a longer operational lifespan. CollarEV also offers a lifetime battery replacement or upgrade option, supported by IoT-based monitoring systems for real-time battery health tracking. The company is also testing supercapacitor-assisted battery technology to further enhance charging speed and durability.

The CollarEV Moon is primarily targeted at last-mile delivery companies, logistics firms, fleet operators, and mobility aggregators. It is also suitable for practical applications such as milk and vegetable distribution, small retail logistics, rural transportation, and agricultural supply chains, particularly in Tier-3 and Tier-4 regions.

The company plans to begin its rollout in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities, as well as rural and semi-urban markets, where demand for durable and affordable electric mobility solutions is steadily rising.
