Ola Electric Launches ‘#EndICEAge’ Campaign to Accelerate Shift from Petrol Two-Wheelers to EVs

Ola Electric has launched a nationwide campaign titled #EndICEAge to accelerate India’s transition from petrol-powered two-wheelers to electric mobility. The initiative aims to highlight the rising costs and inconvenience associated with petrol vehicles while encouraging riders to adopt electric alternatives.

Through the campaign, the company seeks to turn the growing burden of fuel expenses into a catalyst for change, urging consumers to move away from Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles and embrace electric mobility. As part of the limited-period campaign, customers purchasing a new S1 scooter or Roadster motorcycle will receive benefits worth over ₹20,000.

The offer, available for three days until March 16, 2026, includes a ₹10,000 cash discount along with an extended 8-year battery warranty valued at up to ₹15,000, providing both immediate savings and long-term assurance to buyers.

In addition to the purchase incentives, the company has launched a social initiative under the same campaign. Customers who buy an Ola electric two-wheeler between now and March 16, 2026, can upload their last month’s petrol bills on social media platforms while tagging Ola Electric and using the hashtag #EndICEAge. Each day, the company will select three standout entries and adjust their petrol expenses against the payment made for their electric vehicle.

An Ola Electric spokesperson said the campaign is aimed at encouraging riders to break free from the long-standing dependency on petrol vehicles.

“For decades, India has been stuck in the petrol cycle — rising fuel prices, frequent visits to petrol pumps and a mobility ecosystem built on outdated technology. With #EndICEAge, we are inviting riders across the country to break free from petrol dependency and move to electric. Our S1 scooters and Roadster motorcycles offer a cleaner, smarter and far more economical way to commute,” the spokesperson said.

The campaign comes shortly after the company introduced the Champions Edition of its flagship models powered by the 4680 Bharat Cell, including the S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) scooter and the Roadster X+ (9.1 kWh) motorcycle. The limited-edition models were launched to commemorate India’s historic third **ICC Men’s T20 World Cup victory and will be available at company stores and on its website until the end of April 2026.

Currently, Ola Electric offers a wide portfolio of Gen 3 S1 scooters and Roadster X motorcycles across premium and mass-market segments. The premium S1 Gen 3 range includes the S1 Pro+ and S1 Pro models, while the mass-market lineup features the S1 X+ and S1 X variants with multiple battery configurations. The company’s motorcycle portfolio includes the Roadster X+ and Roadster X models in different battery capacities, catering to a broad range of riders transitioning to electric mobility.

With the #EndICEAge campaign, Ola Electric is positioning electric vehicles as a practical and economical alternative for daily commuting while accelerating India’s broader shift toward sustainable transportation.
