VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV), a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, reported total sales of 9,986 units in February 2026, registering a 23.4% increase compared with 8,092 units in February 2025.
The company said the strong growth was largely driven by the performance of Eicher branded trucks and buses, which accounted for the majority of the sales during the month.
Eicher Brand Performance
Sales of Eicher trucks and buses stood at 9,766 units in February 2026, compared with 7,909 units in February 2025, reflecting a 23.5% growth year-on-year.
In the domestic commercial vehicle (CV) market, Eicher-branded trucks and buses recorded 9,165 units in February 2026, up from 7,357 units in the same month last year, representing a 24.6% increase.
Export Performance
On the export front, VECV reported 601 units in February 2026, compared with 552 units in February 2025, marking a growth of 8.9%.
Volvo Brand Sales
Meanwhile, **Volvo trucks and buses sold 220 units in February 2026, up from 183 units in February 2025, representing a 20.2% increase.
The latest sales figures highlight strong demand in the domestic commercial vehicle market, particularly for Eicher’s trucks and buses, while the Volvo brand continues to maintain steady growth in the premium heavy-duty segment.
