TaskUs Inc., a global provider of outsourced digital services and next-generation customer experience solutions, has launched a large-scale electric vehicle (EV) transportation program for its employees in India, marking a significant step in its sustainability journey.

The program begins at TaskUs’ Mystiqa site in Gurugram, where around 20% of the existing employee transportation fleet will be replaced with electric vehicles. The company plans to accelerate electrification across its Indian operations, targeting nearly half of its fleet to be electric by the end of 2026. TaskUs aims to deploy 100 EVs by July 2026 and scale the number to 300 units by the end of the year, representing 45–50% of its total transportation fleet.

TaskUs estimates that more than 35% of employees using the company’s transportation services will benefit from the transition to EVs. Each electric vehicle is expected to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 3.2 metric tons annually, with the initiative projected to cut nearly 360 metric tons of carbon emissions in its first year of implementation.

Commenting on the initiative, Sapna Bhambani, Senior Vice President of Operations and Country Leader for TaskUs India, said the program reflects the company’s people-first ethos and its commitment to reducing carbon and noise pollution in urban environments where it operates. She added that the initiative aligns with TaskUs’ broader ESG strategy and its focus on operational excellence combined with environmental responsibility.

India is TaskUs’ second-largest operations base, with over 15,000 employees across six cities. The company was recently certified as a Great Place to Work for 2025 and recognized among the Top 10 Inspiring Workplaces in Asia.

TaskUs serves clients across high-growth sectors including social media, e-commerce, AI, gaming, streaming media, food delivery, ride-sharing, financial services, and healthcare, and employs approximately 63,800 people globally across 30 locations in 13 countries.
