RapidE Power & Mobility Solutions Pvt Ltd and iGo Wise Mobility Pvt Ltd have announced a strategic partnership to deploy RapidE Power’s Battery Swap via Delivery service using iGo’s BeiGO X4 rugged utility electric vehicle, marking a significant step toward making premium electric mobility more accessible and hassle-free across India.
The collaboration aims to eliminate two of the biggest barriers to EV adoption—charging anxiety and high upfront costs—by offering a battery-on-subscription model under the broader Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) / Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) framework. Customers can opt for a simple onboarding process involving a nominal security deposit, followed by a monthly subscription that includes scheduled battery deliveries directly to their location.
This model removes the need for home or workplace charging infrastructure and frees users from daily charging routines, enabling a seamless, plug-free EV experience for both businesses and individuals.
Focus on B2B and B2C segments
The partnership will cater to a wide range of customers, including fleet operators, last-mile delivery companies, and individual consumers, with solutions tailored to specific usage patterns and operational needs. Services will go live in Hyderabad and Bengaluru from day one, with plans to expand soon into other cities across Maharashtra and Odisha.

Commenting on the partnership, Sambit Patnaik, Founder & Director, RapidE Power & Mobility Solutions Pvt Ltd, said the collaboration represents a major milestone for the company. He highlighted that RapidE is expanding beyond electric two-wheelers into three-wheelers and trikes, building on recent partnerships and strengthening its presence in Hyderabad and Nagpur, while entering Bengaluru and planning operations in Bhubaneswar.
