Audi delivered more than 1.6 million vehicles worldwide in 2025, closing a challenging year with a strong fourth-quarter performance and record growth in electric vehicle (EV) deliveries. While overall deliveries declined by approximately 3 percent year over year, the brand reported steady monthly growth from September onward, signaling a clear upward trend.

Electric vehicles emerged as a key growth driver for the premium automaker. Audi delivered over 223,000 all-electric vehicles in 2025, marking a 36 percent increase compared to the previous year and setting a new record for the brand. Customer demand is also accelerating: overall orders rose by more than 13 percent, while orders for electric models surged by around 58 percent year over year.

“Our product initiative is hitting the road, and deliveries are gradually reflecting this,” said Marco Schubert, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing. “In 2025, we were mainly able to achieve increases for electric models. This shows that customers are eagerly adopting vehicles such as the Audi A6 e-tron and Audi Q6 e-tron.”

The Audi A6 e-tron and Audi Q6 e-tron played a particularly significant role, with deliveries reaching approximately 37,000 and 84,000 units, respectively. Several markets, including Canada, Poland, Turkey, and Denmark, recorded all-time delivery highs.

Despite the positive momentum, Audi noted that geopolitical and economic pressures weighed on global performance throughout the year. Intense competition in China and U.S. tariff policies affected consumer demand across the automotive industry. Strong results in Europe, Germany, and emerging markets were not sufficient to fully offset these challenges.

Regionally, Audi delivered more than 464,000 vehicles in Europe (excluding Germany), matching the previous year’s level, while EV deliveries in the region climbed about 40 percent. In Germany, Audi achieved growth of 4 percent, delivering over 206,000 vehicles, nearly 41,000 of which were fully electric—an increase of 89 percent.

In North America, deliveries totaled more than 202,000 vehicles, with EV sales rising 15 percent to a record 33,000 units. Canada stood out with record deliveries exceeding 37,000 vehicles, up 11 percent year over year.

China remained a highly competitive market, where Audi delivered around 618,000 vehicles, a decline of 5 percent, yet retained its leading position among core competitors. The company plans to accelerate its China-focused product initiative in 2026, with new models such as the Audi A6L, A6L e-tron, Q5L, and AUDI E7X set to launch.

In overseas and emerging markets, Audi increased deliveries by approximately 6 percent to 134,000 vehicles, supported by strong growth in countries including Argentina, Turkey, and Egypt.
