JSW MG Motor India announced that its electric crossover utility vehicle (CUV), MG Windsor, has emerged as India’s highest-selling electric car of 2025, marking a historic milestone in the country’s four-wheeler EV market.

The company said it sold over 46,735 units of the MG Windsor in calendar year 2025, becoming the first automobile manufacturer in India to achieve such volumes with a single electric vehicle model.

According to the company, the MG Windsor recorded the highest month-on-month sales consistently throughout the year, averaging around 4,000 units per month. Sales of the model also grew by more than 20 percent in the fourth quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year.

JSW MG Motor India reported a strong overall performance in 2025, ending the year with 19 percent growth in total vehicle sales, while its EV sales surged by 111 percent year-on-year compared to 2024.
