TVS Motor Records Highest-Ever Quarterly Sales in Q3 FY26, Driven by EV and Export Surge

TVS Motor Company reported its highest-ever quarterly sales in the third quarter of FY26, underlining strong demand across domestic and international markets, supported by robust growth in electric vehicles, two-wheelers, and exports.

During Q3 FY26, the company sold 15.44 lakh units, registering a 27 per cent year-on-year growth. Two-wheeler sales rose 25 per cent, increasing from 11.83 lakh units in Q3 FY25 to 14.84 lakh units, while three-wheeler sales surged 106 per cent to 0.60 lakh units. The company’s international business grew 40 per cent, with sales climbing to 4.10 lakh units during the quarter.

Strong December 2025 Performance

TVS Motor also delivered a standout performance in December 2025, recording monthly sales of 481,389 units, a 50 per cent increase compared to 321,687 units in December 2024.

Total two-wheeler sales rose 48 per cent to 461,071 units, led by strong domestic demand, which grew 54 per cent to 330,362 units. Motorcycle sales increased 50 per cent to 216,867 units, while scooter sales grew 48 per cent to 198,017 units.

Electric Vehicles and Exports Drive Growth

Electric vehicle sales continued to gain momentum, with EV volumes rising 77 per cent to 35,605 units in December 2025. Exports also recorded strong growth, with total exports increasing 40 per cent to 146,022 units, driven by a 35 per cent rise in two-wheeler exports.

The three-wheeler segment posted exceptional growth, with sales surging 110 per cent to 20,318 units during December.

Sustained Momentum Across Segments

TVS Motor attributed the strong performance to sustained customer demand, expanding global presence, and its focus on sustainable mobility solutions. With operations spanning 80 countries, the company continues to strengthen its leadership in two- and three-wheeler segments, while expanding its electric mobility portfolio.

TVS Motor Company, which operates manufacturing facilities in India and Indonesia, said it remains focused on delivering innovative, high-quality products and superior customer experiences as it builds on its strong growth momentum in FY26.
