Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced that it has produced over 22.55 lakh vehicles in calendar year 2025, marking the highest-ever annual production in the company’s history. This also marks the second consecutive year in which the automaker has crossed the 20-lakh production milestone, underscoring the strength of India’s automotive manufacturing ecosystem.

The total production during CY 2025 included vehicles for domestic sales, exports, and OEM supplies. The top five models by production volume during the year were Fronx, Baleno, Swift, Dzire and Ertiga, reflecting strong customer demand across key segments in both domestic and international markets.

Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said the record production was driven by the dedication of the company’s workforce and close collaboration with its supplier partners. He highlighted that a high level of localisation has enabled Maruti Suzuki to scale up production while maintaining world-class quality, reinforcing India’s global competitiveness in automobile manufacturing.
