Kia India announced the prices of the all-new, second-generation Kia Seltos, starting at ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), marking a strong push to redefine benchmarks in India’s highly competitive mid-SUV segment. With a bigger, bolder design, advanced technology and enhanced safety features, the latest Seltos aims to strengthen Kia’s leadership in the fast-growing category.
The all-new Seltos has been developed to deliver exceptional value across a wide variant range, offering customers multiple powertrain, transmission and feature combinations. Kia said the new model is positioned as a complete SUV solution for modern Indian families, blending space, sophistication, safety and future-ready technology.
Unveiled with a commanding road presence, the new Seltos features a segment-leading length of 4,460 mm, an increased width of 1,830 mm and a longer wheelbase of 2,690 mm, translating into improved cabin space and comfort. The exterior design follows Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ philosophy and introduces elements such as the new Digital Tiger Face, segment-first automatic streamline door handles and a dynamic welcome function with Ice Cube LED projector headlamps. The SUV rides on sporty R18 crystal-cut alloy wheels and will be available in 10 monotone colour options, including the newly introduced Morning Haze and Magma Red.
Inside, the all-new Seltos offers a tech-led and premium cabin experience highlighted by a segment-best 75.18 cm (30-inch) Trinity Panoramic Display Panel and a premium Bose eight-speaker audio system. Convenience is enhanced through wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a segment-first Smart Key Proximity Unlock function. Comfort-focused features include ventilated front seats, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and a segment-first 10-way power driver seat with memory and relaxation functions.
Safety remains a key focus, with the all-new Seltos underpinned by Kia’s India-first global K3 platform, offering improved structural rigidity and driving refinement. The SUV comes equipped with a robust 24-standard safety package, including six airbags, ABS and hill-start assist, along with Level-2 ADAS featuring 21 autonomous safety and driver assistance functions.
Powering the all-new Seltos is a choice of three engines — Smartstream G1.5 petrol, Smartstream G1.5 T-GDI petrol and a 1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel — paired with multiple transmission options such as 6-speed manual, iMT, IVT, 7-speed DCT and 6-speed automatic. The model is offered in four core trims — HTE, HTK, HTX and GTX/X-Line — along with four option packs tailored around convenience, premium features, ADAS and X-Line design elements.
Commenting on the launch, Gwanggu Lee, Managing Director and CEO, Kia India, said the all-new Seltos represents a significant evolution of a nameplate that has played a key role in Kia’s growth in India. He added that the new generation reflects the company’s intent to raise standards across space, safety, technology and ownership experience while delivering strong value to customers.
Production of the all-new Kia Seltos is already underway at Kia’s Anantapur manufacturing facility. Kia India has also emphasised a hassle-free ownership experience, offering extended warranty options of up to seven years, roadside assistance for up to eight years and digital service support through the MyKia app.
With aggressive pricing, a feature-rich line-up and an expansive network of 821 touchpoints across 369 cities, Kia India expects the all-new Seltos to re-energise customer demand and further strengthen its position in India’s mid-SUV segment.
