Sahil Jindal, Managing Director of the Jindal Group, along with three entrepreneur partners, has announced the launch of Trevel, a premium all-electric cab-hailing service, with operations commencing in Gurugram. Positioned at the intersection of luxury, sustainability and reliability, Trevel aims to redefine urban mobility by offering a high-end travel experience powered entirely by electric vehicles.

Billed as India’s newest mass-premium electric mobility company, Trevel’s entry into the Gurugram market marks a strategic step toward reshaping city, airport and business-class travel. The company has outlined an ambitious expansion roadmap, targeting the deployment of 500 luxury electric vehicles by 2026, as it scales operations beyond its initial launch city.

Unlike conventional aggregator-based ride platforms, Trevel operates a 100 per cent self-managed fleet model. All drivers are onboarded on monthly payrolls, a structure the company says ensures greater service consistency, reliability and professional standards. Currently, Trevel offers city rides, airport transfers and hourly rentals, with outstation services expected to be introduced shortly.

A key differentiator for the platform is its Zero Cancellation Policy, designed to eliminate last-minute ride cancellations. This is supported by a 100 per cent on-time guarantee, enabled through advanced scheduling and route-optimisation technology aimed at delivering predictable and punctual journeys.

Safety and technology form a central pillar of Trevel’s offering. Each vehicle is equipped with AI-enabled advanced dashcams that analyse driver behaviour, speed patterns and journey risk indicators. In addition, passengers have access to GPS-enabled live location sharing, providing real-time safety visibility for riders and their families.

Commenting on the launch, Mishu Ahluwalia, CEO, Trevel Mobility, said Gurugram’s strong corporate presence, airport connectivity and digitally savvy population made it an ideal launch market. He added that Trevel is designed to shift urban travel from “convenience with compromise” to business-class reliability, combining a fully managed EV fleet, AI-driven systems and a professionally trained driver workforce.

Founded by Sahil Jindal, Mishu Ahluwalia, Nagarjun KR and Rishi Raj Kochhar, Trevel’s mass-premium positioning is aimed at serving both daily urban commuters and enterprise clients seeking consistent, high-quality mobility solutions. As the company works closely with city authorities and ecosystem partners to streamline EV charging, route safety and fleet optimisation, it plans to expand across additional zones of Gurugram in the coming months.
